Elderly woman rescued from Covingham house blaze
FIREFIGHTERS rescued an elderly woman from her Covingham home.
Three fire crews from Swindon and Stratton fire stations were called to Heronscroft shortly before 5am on Friday morning.
Firefighters rescued an elderly woman from the house and used hose reel jets to put out a kitchen blaze.
The woman was left in the care of paramedics.
