WATCH a Victorian printing press in action, find out about 18th century food writing or make your own Corsham Crown at a special Bath Spa University community open day at their Corsham Court Campus on Saturday.

Staff and students are welcoming everyone to enjoy the free events and workshops for all the family - including a children's creative writing workshop with acclaimed children's author David Almond, famous for his novel Skellig.

The programme includes a series of talks, readings of poetry and nature writing, as well as a workshop that will teach you how to use the Feldenkrais Method in order to improve your movement in your shoulders and back, a film screening of The Thief of Bagdad, and music on the guitar and dombra.

You can print your own discount voucher for the Flemish Weaver pub on the 1840 Albion Press and visit an art exhibition featuring works from the School of Art and Design.

Families can also follow the footprints to the library and discover their new favourite author from the collection.

The community event runs from 11am to 4pm. For more information and the full programme visit bathspa.ac.uk/news-and-events/events/corsham-court-open-day/.
