A BABY-faced trio are still on the run from police.

The three young men are suspected of robbing revellers in the early hours this month.

Among the gang’s victims was former Swindon Advertiser journalist Jamie Hill. He was smashed over the head with a snooker ball stuffed in a sock before 3.30am on Sunday, June 3. His wallet was taken in the attack near Charlotte Mews, Old Town.

Mr Hill, 44, currently editor of Swindon Link, was the first victim of the teen gang. They are suspected of going on to commit a further two robberies in Swindon.

Their second victim was chased down and assaulted around Ferndale Road and Cricklade Road, Gorse Hill. The young man’s wallet, cash and clothing were taken.

The final attack happened at 5.05am on Dorcan Way. The victim, a man in his 20s, was assaulted by a gang of youths. They tried to steal his phone but fled the scene empty handed.

The fourth incident happened at around 5.45am in Queen's Drive, east Swindon, when a man in his 20s was assaulted by a group of youths. They tried to steal his phone but ended up fleeing the scene empty-handed.

Detectives investigating the case have released pictures of three young men they would like to speak to in connection with the attacks.
