GERMAN cars are famed for their quality.
But all the engineering prowess in the world didn’t stop a German-registered Setra coach breaking down in the middle of a Old Town busy roundabout.
The coach, which is branded Fans on Tour, came to a halt on the roundabout at the top of Victoria Road and Bath Road.
Police are at the scene directing traffic. The position of the coach makes it impossible for cars to turn from Victoria Road right on to Bath Road or from Bath Road to Devizes Road.
It’s expected to be recovered before 9pm.
UPDATE:11pm. The coach has not been recovered. Officers at the scene say the necessary replacement parts should be delivered within the hour.
