Suspect, 24, hands himself in to police after Adver campaign
A SWINDON man suspected of assault has handed himself in to police.
Louis Webb, 24, was one of six suspects whose mugshots were published by police as part of their Wanted in Wiltshire campaign.
The 6ft 2ins man was wanted in relation to an assault charge and evading police.
A spokesman for the force said he had walked into a police station on Monday afternoon, just hours after his face was plastered on the Adver’s front page: “We can confirm that Louis Webb has handed himself in and enquiries are ongoing. We would like to thank the public for assisting with our appeal and supporting the Wanted in Wiltshire campaign.”
