BUS bosses have been forced to rearrange their timetables after roadworks caused major problems for Wroughton drivers.
Temporary traffic lights have been installed on Swindon Road while contractors working for Sa Transportation Co Ltd dig up the road to lay gas connections.
Lengthy delays have hit Stagecoach’s Service 81. The firm said they had been forced to change their timetable this morning.
They tweeted: “The 0845 service 81 from Swindon to Wroughton will only be operating between Thorney Park and Wroughton this morning due to severe traffic congestion in Wroughton. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
