Four chefs. Three courses. Two hours. One victim... and you.

Welcome to Come Die with Me, in the Spotlight Room at the Wyvern Theatre on Friday.

Forget the amicable and humorous dinner parties of the television series of a similar name - this is dining of an altogether darker nature.

Created by Moneypenny Murder Mystery Productions, this dining and drama performance follows the story of a newspaper headline challenge which encourages readers to ‘Know Your Neighbour’ by hosting a series of dinner parties. But the knives (and forks) are out as a group of strangers compete for the title of ultimate dinner party host.

With £100 on the table to add spice to the proceedings, it is no surprise that the night’s meal will end in murder. The war may be over but the fighting has just begun in this comedy whodunnit pitting posh nosh against black market rations in a case that asks you to solve the crime.

Tickets for a seat at the table are £40, which includes the three-course meal. Starters include Halloumi bites or ham hock and pie terrine, with roast chicken or sweet potato and lasagne for the main course.

Doors open at 7pm and the event starts at 7.30pm. To book, call 01793 524481 or visit swindontheatres.co.uk.
