SABRINA 'Brie' Williams rallied her friends and family members to put together a beauty trade show.

More than 40 stalls were set up at St Joseph's Catholic College to raise hundreds for Prospect Hospice.

Brie's grandfather and uncle were cared for by the hospice during the final days of their lives.

Brie said: "It was a really hard time for all of us but the staff at the hospice were so supportive and caring.

"It was comforting to know that they were there 24/7 if we needed them.

"I just wanted to give something back and say thank you.

"Organising this has been like therapy, it's kept me busy and given me something to focus on.

"I've put my heart and soul into this, it was hard work.

"After this, I don't know how I'll feel, or what I'll work towards, though hopefully this will be a regular thing."

A section of the hall was turned into a beauty parlour with massages, waxing and other beauty treatments available.

Stalls selling handmade and cosmetic goods lined the rest of the room.

Brie added: "This has been like a big reunion, some of my my old teachers and friends I haven't seen in years were here.

"As soon as they heard what I was doing, they all offered to help out, which was really touching.

"They've been so generous, I'm truly blessed."
