A MAN suspected of an unprovoked attack on a woman in Gorse Hill has topped Wiltshire Police’s most wanted list.
Adam Banks, 37, is wanted on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm. Police believe he is connected to an unprovoked assault on a woman on Ferndale Road last August.
He is described as white, 5ft 11ins tall, slim, with fair hair and blue eyes.
Police said: “If you see Adam, please do not approach him but call police on 999. Useful information includes clothing description, if he is carrying anything and direction of travel.”
Banks is the latest suspect whose mugshot has been released as part of the force’s Wanted in Wiltshire campaign.
Supt Adrian Burt, Swindon’s top officer, told the Adver: “At the heart of every crime there are victims and witnesses who are affected and our aim is to make the justice process as speedy and smooth as possible.
“Some of the wanted suspects we are issuing appeals for have committed crimes that really affect our communities, such as burglary. Crimes like this have a long-lasting impact on victims and it is absolutely right these offenders should be brought to justice.”
Anyone with information about Banks should call 101 or 999 if they see him.
