EVERYONE from housing officers to meditation experts will be on hand at a Penhill information day.
Residents can meet those behind a range of services at the annual event in the John Moulton Hall next week.
Among those at the event are housing services, Penhill Neighbourhood Wardens, adult education services, health ambassadors, Wiltshire Police, the Guides, Penhill Orchard library staff, St Peter’s Church, Seven Fields Nature Reserve and Central Swindon North Parish Council.
Meditation expert Lucian Horwat will also be at the event to give people a taster of the relaxation group that meets regularly at the Penhill community centre.
Marilyn Beale, who has helped organise the event, said: “They will find out what’s going on in Penhill. People always say there’s nothing going on and there is. They can meet people like Penhill Neighbourhood Wardens meet face to face.”
The information day is on Thursday, July 12, at the John Moulton Hall, Penhill Drive. 10am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-4pm.
