Water has sprung through the pavement at Edison Business park in Dorcan this morning.
Staff arriving at the Adver offices were greeted with a growing puddle of water, bursting straight through the gap between the curbside and pavement.
Thames Water have been contacted about the leak which is the second this week in the area.
A spokesperson for Thames Water said: "We’re sorry to our customers affected by a leak on Hindle Way. We have a team on route to investigate and will work to get everything back to normal as soon as possible.”
On Monday commuters were seen trying to drive through Faraday Road in Dorcan which was partially submerged after a water main burst. The leak was fixed later that evening but some residents in Eldene and Badbury Park were left without water for part of the afternoon.
Thames water has said it is facing a 17 per cent increase in demand for water at the moment and is pumping 450 million litres of water into the system to cope.
The June heat wave looks set to continue into next week, with the Met Office forecasting highs of 27 degrees in Swindon over the weekend.
