Singer/songwriter Tom Grennan has won the Guinness World Record for Most Gigs in Multiple Towns in 12 hours.

Tom completed a total of 10 gigs finishing at 6.30pm yesterday at Sound Knowledge record store in Marlborough.

The Guinness World Record tour started in Breightmet, Bolton at 6.46am in the morning and continued with eight more 15 minute shows in front of at least 10 people. Tom had to use a stage at each show, in towns of at least 5000 people, at a distance of 50km apart, to meet the criteria of the record.

Tom 's latest single Royal Highness is taken from his current album Lighting Matches, whcih is tipped to enter the top five of the UK album charts tomorrow. The song was premiered as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record in the World on BBC Radio 1.

Royal Highness’ is the follow-up single to Grennan’s Found What I was Looking For, which is currently being used as the title music to Sky Sports’ Premier League coverage. The single featured on the Radio 1 (b-list), Virgin and Absolute Radio playlists and racked up almost five million streams. 

Tom's vocals are featured on Bugzy Malone‘s Memory Lane single, which has been added to the Radio 1 playlist, and he is on Bugzy’s Top 5 album King Of The North.

Tom is abut to set out on his biggest headline tour yet that includes a show at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire on March 20, 2019.
