DISAPPOINTED England fans have congratulated their team on a well-fought World Cup campaign.
The Three Lions lost their semi-final clash against Croatia 2-1 last night, despite a nation hoping manager Gareth Southgate and captain Harry Kane would be bringing football home.
On social media, Swindon fans said the team could keep their heads held high. Steph posted: “We still played like the absolute legends we are.”

Danny Harrington said England had confounded his expectations.
A lot of positives especially when most of us thought we'd be rubbish, I'm happy they beat my expectations of a quarter final. Let's get the bronze now against Belgium! #ItsComingHome #4moreyears
