A MAN tried to bundle a teenage girl into his car in Pinehurst.
The 18-year-old managed to escape after drivers of three vehicles intervened. Now police are appealing for witnesses to the incident on Friday night.
At around 11pm police say she was attacked by an Asian man, who attempted to force her into a black Audi on Northern Road near Wingate Parade.
He was 5ft 7ins, in his 30s, with black hair and a stubbly beard and moustache, wearing a long white-sleeve shirt.
Police are appealing to the drivers of the three cars to call 101.
