Police have raided nearby addresses in connection with the Grange Park stabbing.

Residents in Grange Park watched armed police in full riot gear and shields enter an address on Thurney drive earlier this morning.

Resident on Thurney drive Simon O'leary said: "We had a police helicopter overhead and saw police in riot gear at the end of the road at around 8 o'clock this morning. It's a bit unnerving. We don't normally see anything like that, but it can happen anywhere."

Police also cordoned off a section of Sudeley Way while crime scene investigation teams could be seen cleaning the area outside a property.

The situation is said to be on going with a heavy police presence in the area as the search for suspects of the stabbing continues.

Police are appealing for witnesses of the targeted attack which happened shortly before midnight. The victim, a male in his 20's, is said to be a stable condition.
