Chilli Fest is returning and ready to bring some heat to the town for its fourth year in Swindon.

The pop-up festival will be based at Wharf Green in the town centre from 10am till 5pm, on Saturday July 28.

There will be a variety of chillis on offer from some of the best producers from around the UK, who will be exhibiting a range of peppers from mild to extreme for people to try out.

There will be plenty of chilli infused sauces, cooking spices, plants and merchandise for customers to indulge in - which will only be available at the festival.

And for those who think they can handle the intensity of some of the hottest chillies around, you can enter a there's the traditional chilli eating contest at 2pm.

Organisers said: “This event is all about chilli and nothing else.

“There is something for everyone from the hardcore enthusiast chilli connoisseur to the curious.

“This will be an intriguing and exciting day for all to be involved in, so make sure you don’t miss out.”

There will be live entertainment throughout the day, along with street food and exhibits surrounding the venue, including restaurants, cafes and bars.
