A RIDING centre near Swindon has been picked to teach Wiltshire agricultural students.
Rein and Shine, which is based at Braydon, is to host Lackham students four days a week so they can learn horse care and management to level 2 and the first year of level 3.
A delighted Johanna McDonald, who runs the centre with husband John, said: “With our excellent facilities and as existing training tutors for our highly commended BHS riding school, livery yard and competition centre, we are fully equipped to take on these two courses.
“We pride ourselves on providing a friendly, relaxed, safe and secure environment in which students can really thrive.”
As well as offering riding lessons and training for riders, the centre currently runs non-profit Hoof Clubs for youngsters who don’t have their own ponies.
It also provides courses in horse care for children from the Swindon area with special educational needs using classrooms that were added to the complex last year.
