safety concerns for man on bridge close A419
POLICE shut the A419 near Blunsdon early today following concerns for the safety of a man who was on the bridge.
The alarm was raised at 12.20am and a section of the dual carriageway was closed between the B4040 and the B4019 while the incident was dealt with.
The man was taken to a place of safety by ambulance at about 1.45am.
