999 taser call brings police to West Swindon car park
A TASER report saw police swoop on West Swindon District Centre.
Wiltshire Police were called to the district centre car park on Thursday afternoon after a 999 report of a man believed to be carrying a taser.
A Swindon man, 47, was arrested and taken to Gablecross Police Station. A taser was seized by police.
"We’d like to thank the public for their quick-thinking, and our officers who responded ensuring members of the public were safe," a spokeswoman said.
