Armed officers went to Cheney Manor Road in Rodbourne this afternoon after reports that a firearm had been seen on the front seat of a parked van.
The alarm was raised at 1.45pm. A Wiltshire force spokesman told the Advertiser: “Armed officers were called, as is standard procedure. Following our enquiries it was established that the gun was a toy.”
