FOUR wickets from Ben Mason fired Division One leaders Potterne 2nd back ways with a thumping 230-run win at home to Winsley.

After setting a first-innings total of 316, Mason (2-24) and Gedeon Charles (3-32) flattened the Winsley batting order. The visitors' top three were all dismissed for ducks as they collapsed to 86 all out inside 22 overs.

Earlier on, openers Harry Latham (89) and Jack Hurley (59), alongside Josh Hodder (49) had all impressed with the bat for Potterne.

Hinton Charterhouse remain second after a five-wicket win at Malmesbury.

George Royle (76) and Theo Blundell (49) helped Malmesbury post 205-6 but Chaterhouse chased that down inside 42 overs, led by 71 from Dave Catlow and Anthony Dalrymple's 51.

Another title hopeful, Swindon 2nd, also bounced back from defeat last weekend to win by five wickets at Box.

Harry Chevis took three wickets to help restrict Box to 206-7, with Dave Crawford (63) and Paul Bazell (48 not out) leading the way with the bat.

Opener John Baden then hit an unbeaten 93 in reply to see Swindon to victory with more than eight overs to spare, finishing on 207-5.

Nationwide House remain in a scrap at the wrong end of the table after going down by 88 runs away at Great Bedwyn.

Nick Davies (87) and Robert Palmer (62) helped Bedwyn post a hefty 304-5 before Chris Blundy took 6-30 to dismiss the House reply for 216.

DIVISION TWO

SWINDON NALGO took the spoils in their derby at Swindon A, triumphing by six wickets over their local rivals.

Ahmed Hassan took three wickets to help limit Swindon A to 175, with A Birabar top scoring with 55.

Opener Abrar Qureshi then spearheaded the NALGO reply, scoring 90 as they reached a winning 177-4 after 31 overs. Andrew Mildenhall took three of the four wickets to fall.

Swindon United Churches were no match for leaders Beckington as they were thumped by 102 runs on the road.

Beckington set a total of 236, with Charlie Harfield took scoring on 68 and Richard Martin (3-33) leading the Churches attack.

Mark Quamil (4-29) and Luke Harfield (3-11) then stifled the Churches reply, as the visitors were bowled out for 134.

Biddestone 2nd were comfortable seven-wicket winners away at Bath Hospitals.

Stuart Webb-Martin (72) and Andrew Boyce (64) guided Hospitals to 218-8 in 45 overs, with Mark Unwin leading the Biddestone attack with 3-37.

There were also three wickets for Hospital's Dan Hatcher as the visitors began their reply, but it was not enough to keep them at bay as they reached a winning 222-3 thanks to David Compor's 78 and 49 not out from Aled Evans.

DIVISION THREE

OPENER Matthew Harrington's half-century teed up a 86-run win for Bradford on Avon at Potterne 3rd.

Harrington (58) helped Bradford post 236-8, with Ben Higton taking three wickets for Potterne.

Stan Alsop then made a gritty 70 in reply but Harrington then came to the fore with the ball too, taking 3-25 as the visitors were bowled out for 150.

DIVISION FOUR

A BRILLIANT Combe Down bowling display inspired them to a seven-wicket win at home to Corsham 3rd.

Asked to bat first, Corsham put on 42 for the first wicket but, thereafter, struggled and were all out for 112. Seth Turner (4-20) and Ian Corrick (3-18) were the most successful Combe bowlers.

The hosts had a relatively straightforward time in reply, reached a winning 116-3 in 18 overs with Andy Hulbert (48) top scoring.

DIVISION FIVE

MELKSHAM dropped from first to third following a five-wicket defeat at home to Bathford.

The hosts were hurt by the bowling of Martin Gurney, who took 5-24 to bowl Melksham out for 158. Matthew Hunt also picked up three wickets.

Paul Hunt (77) then led the Bathford reply as they reached 160-5 with 22 balls to spare.

Biddestone 3rd endured a tough afternoon at home to Erlestoke, losing by seven wickets after being skittled for just 88.

Three wickets each for Joe Dorgan and Liam Foster saw the Biddestone innings last just 23 overs, and Erlestoke needed only 15 themselves to chase their target.
