A MOTORIST was airlifted to Southmead Hospital after a serious crash near Wroughton.
South Western Ambulance Service sent five ambulances to the scene of the two-car accident on the A4361 at around 2.50pm on Friday.
The air ambulance was also called to the crash, together with a paramedic officer and rapid response paramedic car.
One person was taken to Southmead Hospital, Bristol, by helicopter. Two others were rushed to Great Western Hospital.
Wiltshire Police closed the A4361 in both directions near the Salthrop junction.
