The Robins have a new supporter - the National Self Build and Renovation Centre.
The advice bureau and exhibition centre, based in Lydiard Way, has been named as Swindon Town’s new Gold Business Partner.
So when home fans celebrate a goal, they’ll be doing so behind an advertising hoarding for the centre at the County Ground, and there will be an advert in every match day programme, attracting fans who are interested in improving their homes.
Harvey Fremlin, managing director at the NSBRC, said: “We are thrilled to support our home team by becoming a gold business partner.
“We believe the NSBRC is a fantastic resource that is under-utilised by people in and around Swindon and this partnership is a high-profile opportunity to highlight that we are free to visit and open to the public.
“Our branding in the ground is asking a simple question; ‘Are you Improving your home?’ and will hopefully inspire people to look at our website and pay us a visit.
“We help people who are building new homes but also many who are improving their own houses, perhaps by building an extension, converting a loft or fitting a new kitchen or bathroom.”
