POLICE have arrested two boys aged 15 and 16 after they were alerted to an attempted burglary in Buller Street.

The pair, both local, were found by a dog handler on a nearby roof after the alarm was raised and police searched the area.

Wiltshire Police said: “We received a call reporting two males seen acting suspiciously with torches near garages in Buller Street at approximately 11.30pm on 7 August.”

Both were arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary with intent to steal and possession with intent to supply class A drugs. The 16-year-old also faces an allegation of abstracting electricity without authority. They have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
