Internationally renowned designer Kaffe Fassett brings a riot of colour to Bath’s Victoria Gallery in an exhibition called A Celebration of Flowers.

Fassett makes a welcome return to Bath, a city he has been associated with since the 1960s when he moved to England from San Francisco.

Inspired by flowers all his life, the colour expert and fabric designer demonstrates his full creative flair in this stunning exhibition. With a bespoke dazzling colour scheme to match, the installation transforms the gallery, using 40 of his vibrant coloured quilts and needlepoints.

The show also features colourful mosaic island gardens, benches, totems, mirror frames, shoes, flower encrusted candlesticks and a chandelier by one of Fassett’s long-term collaborators, fellow American Candace Bahouth, who is based in Somerset.

Many of these works are on a large scale and extend the floral theme into three dimensions.

The exhibition runs till September 2 and tickets are £4.50 with concessions available. Visit victoriagal.org.uk.
