COURT: Magistrates issued a warrant for the arrest of a man alleged to have taken more than £85 of diesel from garages around Swindon.

Dale Francis Gough, of Glanfield, near Faringdon, was due to appear before Swindon magistrates but when Gough failed to turn up, magistrates issued a warrant for his arrest.. The 26-year-old faces five charges of making off from petrol stations in Chiseldon, Calcutt, Swindon, Highworth and Royal Wootton Bassett.

COURT: Pinehurst woman Kerrie Anne Mclane is wanted by the courts.

The 45-year-old, of The Bungalows, has been charged with taking a wallet from a car, stealing a purse, taking cash from a cash machine and attempting to steal goods from Tesco and Sports Direct. It is alleged she drove without a licence, insurance, made off without paying for fuel and interfering with a motor vehicle.

She failed to appear before Swindon magistrates and a warrant has been issued for her arrest.

COURT: A Toothill man has been charged with shoplifting from Boots. It is alleged Michael James Farrell, 46, of Kirkstall Close, took items worth almost £80. When he failed to appear before the court, magistrates issued a warrant for his arrest without bail.

Fedaa Benhassine, 21, of Chobham Road, Stratford, faces charges of possessing a knife in a public place. When he failed to attend court on Wednesday, magistrates issued a warrant for his arrest without bail.

COURT: An alleged Old Town cannabis dealer admitted drug driving charges.

Finn Grahame Nicholson, 22, of Devizes Road, pleaded guilty to drug driving his Kia Ceed on County Road in April and possession of cocaine.

But he will appear before Swindon Crown Court on September 28 after submitting no plea to charges he was dealing cannabis in the town. Magistrates awarded him unconditional bail.
