STRATTON Higashi Karate Club have raised almost £1,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Club members put on a demonstration of self defence techniques to an audience of family and friends to raise funds for the charity last month.
The karate club meet three times a week at the Premier Club in Ermin Street and are taught by 3rd Dan Phil Woodfield.
The club is always looking for new members.
