The North Swindon Lantern Parade on March 19 needs more jam jars to ensure a magical evening.

The parade is a new initiative by arts education project Flux to get people in the community together, with lanterns lighting a special parade.

A decorating session will be held on March 15 from 11am to 4pm for anyone interested - please bring jars.

Donated jars, clean with labels removed, should be left at reception of the North Swindon Library or at Isambard Community School.

The parade leaves North Swindon library between 5.30pm and 6.30pm.
