Simon loses close verdict

THE run of wins by Penhill's Simon Knowles Jnr came to an at the Tower Ballroom in Birmingham against Chelmsley's Tommy Lennon after a debatable majority decision.
Knowles started the busier of the two and came out all guns blazing in the second round, catching Lennon with a flurry of punches.
In the third round Knowles seemed to take his foot off the accelerator, allowing Lennon to get back into the fight and win a close decision.
Penhill have Adam Goddard representing them in the first rounds of the Junior ABA's this weekend.
