I DO so love the irony in Don Reeve's letter (SA, May 21). What amazed me was his assertion that at long last we have NHS dentistry in Swindon'. I assume he is talking about adult NHS dentistry and that he can tell us where such a service can be provided.
I have to say that at long last Anne Snelgrove's website contains three addresses where new NHS patients are being welcomed. Sadly there is a caveat as set out in that winsome phrase - few places only.
It is this government's shameful record that NHS dental treatment is a luxury afforded to fewer adults than ever. The new contracts imposed by government have driven dentists out of NHS practices into private practices and the nation's dental health into terminal decay.
An example of yet another broken manifesto promise.
