Roads reopened after woman falls from motorway bridge

THE M4 and the Wroughton overbridge have been reopened after a woman fell onto the motorway.

The woman, who police say is aged about 60, fell on to the hard shoulder of the M4 just after 8.45am. She has not yet been identified by police.

She was taken to the Great Western Hospital with serious leg and head injuries.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who saw the woman in the area of the Wroughton overbridge to call them on 0845 408 7000.
