POLICE are seeking information following a sexual attack in Welling.
The 23-year-old woman was walking home from work through Warwick Road and Parkview Road when her attacker struck.
As the woman, who cannot be named, turned into Gypsy Road, the youth pulled her back by the shoulder and then grabbed her bottom.
Police are concerned that the attacker smiled at the woman before he ran away, and want to speak to anyone who might have information surrounding the incident at 6.35pm on April 2.
Sergeant Cudd of Bexley Police emphasised the severity of the attack, saying: “The victim was very shaken up by this attack. It might sound like a fairly minor incident, but the woman found it extremely traumatic. We want to stop this sort of thing from happening again.”
The man is thought to be about 18 years of age, with dark brown curly hair and of a slight build.
He was wearing a dark blue jacket and trousers at the time of the attack.
Call Bexleyheath Police on 020 8248 9136, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
