Firefighters tackle JCB blaze
6:22pm Thursday 21st August 2008
FIREFIGHTERS battled a blaze engulfing a JCB vehicle in Swindon.
Crews were called to the fire in Grace Walk, Haydon End, at 2.07am yesterday morning.
When crews arrived the JCB was well alight and firefighters used one hose reel and two sets of breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.
A Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “No one was in the vehicle at the time and there are no reports of any injuries.
“It was dealt with fairly quickly and took a short period of time to put out.
“Crews got there at 2.20am and left by 2.37am.”
