On the 5th of November Peatmoor school played a football match against St Andrews School. It took place on Peatmoor School’s field. Ben Spackman said how exciting but nerve racking it was.

The audience provided a great boost of confidence, cheering every one of our goals (only one!) The atmosphere was really tense seeing all the boys chasing after the ball.

Our goalie Lewis Spackman did a great job and said it was fun but extremely hard work as they had really good players.

Miles from year five scored our only goal just before half time which left us with our end result, 2 – 1 to St Andrews!

Tom Sewell took our free kick after half time, but unfortunately missed!

After the match everyone shook hands and went to have a drink and chat.

Now, after loosing, they our out of the cup. The sadness was shown on there faces but they didn’t give up.

We at Peatmoor encourage more people to play football and other sports to keep fit and agile. Do you and your family keep fit, if not it’s time to change……NOW!
