Appeal for missing dog

A WOMAN is appealing for the return of her black Labrador, Judy.

Judy has been missing from her home in Birdlip since September 3, and her owner Harriet Saunders, is deeply concerned for her welfare.

Harriet said: "She disappeared from our garden between Brimpsfield and Birdlip. Heavy rain fell all through that week and it is possible that someone might have picked her up from the rural area, thinking she was lost."

Judy was wearing a black leather collar with an ID tag at the time she went missing, although this might now have been lost or even replaced by someone looking after her.

She is seven years old, had been spayed recently and is microchipped. She has a little grey at her muzzle.

Harriet said: "Judy is a wonderful character and very much in the centre of our family. She was constantly with us as part of the daily routine. Our three little girls, aged six, four and two, in particular are missing her tremendously, and are having nightmares about Judy's disappearance."

Have you seen Judy? Call 07831 664616 or call DogLost confidentially on 0844 800 3220 quoting 14917. There is a substantial reward for information leading to her return.

Try calling the animal sanctuary out by Wootton Bassett. I hear they don't report any dogs handed in as strays
