CHRIS Moyles has announced this morning that BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend is coming to Swindon in two months’ time.
The DJ, who is broadcasting his breakfast show from the town, said the free music festival will be held at Lydiard Park on May 9 and 10.
The two-day event features live music across four stages and will be broadcast on Radio 1, as well as TV highlights shown on BBC3.
Last year Madonna headlined the festival, which was held in Maidstone Kent.
Moyles has revealed that N-Dubz will be among the acts playing at this year’s festival. The group performed live in Swindon this morning.
Details of another major act will be announced later this morning.
