Entries flood in for arts festival

ORGANISERS of the Wootton Bassett Arts Festival are thrilled that more than 420 people have entered so far.
The festival takes place from June 5 to 7 and lets people show off their talent in music, speech and drama and writing. Professional adjudicators have been lined up to give competitors feedback and present cups and plaques to the winners.
“Though the festival has taken place on two previous occasions, these numbers are far higher than ever before,” said marketing director Miranda Shirnia.
The creative writing section of the festival is still accepting entries up until Friday. Visit www.wbaf.co.uk.
