Reports of Michael Jackson's death
POP star Michael Jackson is reported to have died following a suspected cardiac arrest.
The "King of Pop" was rushed to hospital by paramedics, who found him at his LA home not breathing.
American website TMZ and the Los Angeles Times are both running unconfirmed reports that the 50-year-old died at the UCLA medical centre.
Los Angeles City Fire Department confirmed that an emergency call had been made from Jackson's Bel Air home.
"The call came in because a person was not breathing," said a spokesman for the Los Angeles City Fire Department.
"When the team arrived, they saw that CPR was already in progress by someone at the home."
