A MAN accused of stealing a bag from a visually impaired woman has appeared in court.
Brian Wheleham, 31, from the Salvation Army hostel Booth House, Spring Close, Swindon town centre, appeared at Swindon Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
Wheleham was released on conditional bail which bans him from entering Pinehurst, Penhill or Moredon.
He will next appear at Swindon Crown Court on Friday, July 17.
