Man accused of rape in Queens Park

A MAN has been arrested in connection with a rape in a Swindon park.
The 39-year-old Swindon man was arrested on Wednesday night following an attack on a 23-year-old woman from Swindon.
Queens Park in the town centre was cordoned off for about three hours from 6.50pm on Wednesday as police searched the area.
The woman underwent a medical examination yesterday and the arrested man remained in custody last night.
