A MAN who suffers from a heart condition was attacked near the Oasis.
The 28-year-old, from Swindon town centre, was walking with a 61-year-old woman when he was set upon at 2.15am on Sunday, July 16.
Det Con Leah Steward from Swindon CID said the man was jumped from behind, pinned to the ground and money was demanded from him by an unknown man.
The man was punched and kicked a number of times on a footpath by the leisure centre in West Swindon.
The woman ran for help and called the police. No property was stolen.
Police described the attacker as 25 to 30 years old, 5ft 10in to 6ft tall, of skinny build with brown short hair. He was wearing a blue t-shirt and blue jeans.
