Top Tory to visit GWH

A SHADOW minister will be touring the Great Western Hospital today.

Shadow Secretary of State for Health Conservative MP Andrew Lansley will visit the hospital on Marlborough Road.

Robert Buckland, Conservative Parliamentary candidate for South Swindon said: “I’m delighted that Andrew is coming to visit Swindon and the GWH.

“I’m looking forward to showing him the fantastic work done there by the doctors, nurses and all the staff.

“David Cameron has made it clear that the Conservatives are the party of the NHS, and Andrew’s visit here highlights that.”

Much more likely he will be looking how to reduce costs and services - after all Conservative Part interests are much more important than patient.

"Conservatives are the party of the NHS" ahahahaha
Could there be a link with the NHS commanding 1.4 million workers?

Hint hint:Lets face it, the NHS is a gigantic budget expense and its political (voting) weight is enormous.

Any party thinking of cutting NHS budget and numbers, can forget about being elected

and the same goes for the Education & Police. That is why the Conservative will not touch pay deals made under Labour.

Our Country, Democracy are blackmailed by the sheer number of Public servants.

So of course the Conservatives are the party of the NHS, Education and Police LOL they have learnt their lessons.

Curious isn’t it? The Adver reports this story but not that the GWH achieved a 'Good' rating by the Care Quality Commission. Yet they are happy to report the 'Weak' rating of the ambulance service. Biased reporting anybody? Maybe good news doesn’t sell.. Or suit their purpose.

I was up there today and wonderd why hill-tout was hovering by the doors. Somehow I knew she wasnt there to ask the patients and visotors how she could make their visit more enjoyable, or atleast better than my last stay there.

Or maybe talk about how poor their service is in relation to the recent reports.

I also wonderd if the reason he was late was because he couldnt find anywere to park, or had no change for the meters.

I am sure I saw her kiss his feet.

I hope to God he didn't want any treatment or a smoke whilst he was there!

I can hardly be bothered to take part in this ridiculous whinge-fest for fear of giving it credibility which it doesn't deserve.

If he hadn't come, you'd go on about politicians living in their Westminster bunker and never coming to look at the 'real world'. And when he does come, we get attacks on him, attacks on the hospital, even attacks on the Adver for reporting it.

Some people are never happy unless they're complaining.

I think Jo may be linked at the hip with the local Tory group.

As for the visit it is pure electioneering, nothing more nothing less. Why not just be honest Jo. Lansley probably had no idea where Swindon was until he was invited one assumes by Rob.
