BRITAIN’S Got Talent dance superstars Diversity will be moving and shaking their way to Swindon next year as part of their nationwide tour.

The dance troupe who stormed to victory and snatched the winner’s crown from odds on favourite Susan Boyle last year are aiming to get people in the town up off their seats and get involved with their high octane performances.

Front man Ashley Banjo has said he is looking forward to taking to the stage at the Oasis in April.

He said: “Our show is going to high energy and we are aiming to get people out of their seats in Swindon and up dancing.

“We have had the most fantastic year and this tour is just like the icing on the cake.

“This is definitely going to be a landmark gig for Swindon and hope that our dedicated fans come out to see us.”

The group, who recently performed an exclusive set at the MOBO awards, will be on our screens this Christmas at the Royal Variety Performance – one part of their prize for winning the nationwide hunt for Britain’s biggest talent.

The 11 man dance troupe from East London and the Essex area are made up of three sets of brothers Ashley and Jordan Banjo, Ian, Jamie and Matthew McNaughton, Sam and Mitchell Craske. They are complemented by four of their best friends, Terry Smith, Ike Ezekwugo, Warren Russell and Perri Luc Kiely.

They will be taking to the stage with fellow Britain’s Got Talent star Aidan Davis and other special guests.

The show will be an interactive story taking Diversity’s talent to a whole new level and will be based around the concept of toys coming to life.

Apart from their outstanding dance routines, Diversity’s show will include state-of-the-art lighting and screens, with sound and music as diverse as their performances.

Dancer Ashley said: “There will be unbelievable routines integrated in a storyline full of surprises with special guest artists.

“I think a lot of people will be surprised with what we’ve come up with – expect the unexpected.

“This won’t just be a series of dances that you have seen us perform on TV. We will be bringing a toy story to life. Wait and see.”

Tickets for the show on April 2 are priced at £18.50 and go on sale today from 9.30am. Tickets are subject to a £2 booking fee when purchased from the Oasis.
