SHOPPERS are being invited to taste the ‘food of love’ at a St Valentine’s Day farmers’ market at the Designer Outlet on Sunday.

All the meats available from Hinton Marsh farm and Vowley farm are produced free range and small scale, minimising the impact on the environment and ensuring that the livestock is properly cared for. There will also be tasters available at the stalls.

The market, open from 10am to 4pm, will include two bakery stalls, Pippin Doughnuts, Saira’s Asian Savouries, Ceri’s Cheeses and Newstift Goat Dairy.

Loved-up couples can also buy bubbly from Newtown wines or some beer from Warcop Ales.

To add to the mood there will be a prize draw as traders dress up their stalls in romantic themes.
