POLICE are concerned over the safety and welfare of a 15-year-old girl.

Lauren Davidson, who has a medical condition, was last seen at an address in Gorse Hill, at 10.30pm on Monday.

She is described as white, of slight build, approximately 5ft 4in tall with blue eyes.

She has long dark hair with a streak of blonde and brown hair at the front.

It is believed that she may be wearing a Kingsdown School uniform consisting of black trousers and a black jumper and carrying a large green shoulder bag.

Detective Inspector Andy Bridge said: "Lauren is considered to be vulnerable not only due to her age but the fact that she has a medical condition, which requires regular medication.

"She has not taken this medication with her and her family and police are therefore very concerned for her welfare.

"I am appealing for the assistance of the community to help locate Lauren as quickly as possible and I would urge anyone who has seen Lauren or knows of her whereabouts to contact police immediately.

"I am also appealing for Lauren herself to make contact with either her family or police to let us know that she is okay.”
