SWINDON Music Festival will be flooding the town with song and music next week.

The 10-day event kicks off on Wednesday, March 17, providing a platform for amateur performance and professional musicians alike.

The festival encourages entries from all ages and offers classes for the under eights up to the mature voice.

It also runs classes including choirs, church choir, church organ, vocal, strings, woodwind and brass.

There are three sessions per day at 9pm, 1.30pm and 6.30pm Ticket prices range from £1 to £5 and children’s tickets cost 50p.
