A MAN died after he was struck by a recovery vehicle on the M4 motorway.
The incident happened just after 5am yesterday on the westbound carriageway near to junction 15 near Swindon.
The 36-year-old man from Twickenham in south west London received fatal injuries after he was in collision with a Mitsubishi recovery vehicle which was travelling westbound.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed for three hours and police from the serious collision investigation team at Chippenham are continuing their investigations.
