A VILLAGE on the edge of Swindon is to get a spring clean.
Parish councillors and the guides are likely to attend, but all are welcome for the Springtime Litter Pick in Shrivenham.
The idea is to remove all the rubbish dropped before the grass and verges start growing in order to keep the village looking as clean as possible.
Volunteers should meet at the Memorial Hall, on Highworth Road, Shrivenham, at 9.30am on Saturday.
