NHS Wiltshire is a better place to work than this time last year, according to an annual survey.
Nearly two-thirds of NHS Wiltshire staff responded to the survey carried out in autumn 2009 – well above the national response rate of 55 per cent.
The responses came both from staff working in frontline health services and those at headquarters and were analysed by an independent company.
Key findings include 79 per cent of those responding to the survey saying they feel valued by their colleagues, while 82 per cent had an appraisal in previous 12 months – up from 72 per cent in previous year’s survey, and significantly higher than the national average. All reported increased satisfaction in their jobs.
