Prime Minister calls general election

PRIME Minister Gordon Brown has officially announced the general election will take place on May 6.

Calling it "the least well-kep secret of recent years" Mr Brown made the announcement outside Number 10 as he returned from Buckingham Palace, where he asked the Queen to dissolve Parliament.

Madam Snailgrove is doing her bit without her master joining in.
.
Judging by what I saw today, the news about the election being called was no suprise to her. I wonder how she knew? ? ?
.
Snailgrove was handing out election papers in town near the collapsed shop. Perhaps the total collapse of this well established building will be an omen for her electoral support.
.
I declined her kind offer of a paper but it made no difference. When I got home there was a letter from Miz Snailgrove on the mat. It contained an invitation to vote for her, cunningly disguised as an attack on 'Da Toriez.'
.
I found the leaflet very interesting reading, not least because it was printed by a company called Tangent in Cramlington, NE23.
.
Now I am not sure exactly where Cramlington is, but NE23 sounds like it isn't in Swindon.
.
It is touching that Miz Snailgrove has such regard for her soon to be ex constituency, that she can't even be bothered to get her propeganda printed here. Its downright hypocrisy, especially given Question 2 on the back "Do you support my efforts to attract new jobs , , to Swindon. Apparently this won't include printers.
.
Just to save time, can I answer Question 7 now for you Anne.
"What is the main issue that will decide how you vote at the General Election?"
.
Seeing you lose Anne, seeing you lose.
I found Miz Snailgrove's letter / leaflet very interesting.
